Protect your Boat
Boats are extremely treasured assets among boating lovers. The ideal way to keep your boat usable and safe for many years is to install a boat lift to your dock.
Boat lifts will protect them by raising them several feet above the water, keeping them from continuous contact with waves and tides. Also, lifting your boat will offer your watercraft many benefits such as reducing upkeep, lessening bio-growth, and preventing long-term damage.
Boat lifts can potentially extend the life of your boat.
Boat Lift FAQs

Boat lifts could range between 1,000 to 250,000 lb. in capacity. We typically help our customers with lifts between 1,000 to 60,000 lb. You should know your boat’s wet weight, including batteries, engines, water, fuel, and anything else you have included in the boat.
Once your total weight is determined, Coast Seawall Dock & Boatlifts can assist you in finding the perfect boat lift for your needs.
You will find different types of boat lifts you may consider:
- Elevator Lift is utilized in narrow embankments, narrow canals, or where pilings can’t be utilized.
- 3 or 4-Post Beamless Lift has no top beam above the deck, offering a cleaner and sophisticated look.
- 4 or 8-Post Beam Lift is the biggest selling and is one where the lift beams are on top of the deck.
In most cases, a boatlift’s weight capacity cannot be easily changed. It’s best to anticipate possible weight changes to your boat or even the possibility that a new boat may be purchased in the future.
A control box remote come standard with boatlifts purchased with Coast Seawall Dock & Boatlifts. Coast Seawall most often installs TEC remotes, which proved an easy-to-use, and efficient control system. Some boatlifts come with GEM remotes and control box. Gem also provides a quality controlling option for seamless boatlift usage.
With proper installation and maintenance, boatlifts can last 15-20 years. Of course, this longevity has certain variables such as impacting weather, proper usage, and the elements.
Installation of a boatlift can be as fast as 2 days for a 4-post lift. 8-post lifts, typically 30,000lb capacity or greater, take more time and expertise. These larger lifts in particular require experience and professionalism as even a small misalignment could reduce the efficiency of the lift.
